力強きもの - Foras, The Virtue

フォラス - Foras, Forocus, フォルカスとも。ソロモン72柱の魔神の1柱にして、地獄の総統である。29の悪霊軍団を従える。召喚者の前に力強い男性の姿で現れる。召喚者に薬草と宝石の効能を教える。また倫理学と論理学を教授することが出来る。召喚者を他者に対して透明にすることも出来る。失敗と敗北、不安と障害を司る。かつては力天使であったといわれる。

フォラスの名前であるが、おそらくラテン語の ”外に、外”- foras から来ていると思われる。foro には広場という意味もある。

Foras - Known as a Great President of Hell. Governs 29 legions of spirits. Appears in the forms of a strong man. He teaches logic and ethics, and the knowledge about the virtues of all herbs and precious stones. Under the conjurer's request, Foras can make a man witty, eloquent, invisible.
